About the role

At Commify, we're not just a company, we're a globally connected team of innovators who love what we do. As a CPaaS leader with 25 years of groundbreaking experience, we're the force behind over 7 billion customer interactions each year, enabling businesses worldwide to connect via advanced channels like SMS, RCS, and complex mobile journeys. Our culture is our core strength. Operating across the UK, EMEA, the USA, and Australia, we've fostered a truly diverse and connected environment, earning a consistent 4 out of 5 culture score in our employee engagement surveys. You'll join a vibrant team where your diverse experience makes a daily global impact. We need talented people to grow a global company where everyone feels proud to belong, have a purpose and do their best to directly shape the digital future. We are looking for a data-driven and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to become the engine room of our financial planning function. In this role, you won't just be running reports; you will own our core forecasting models, drive cost-centre reviews, and spearhead the evolution of our financial dashboards. You will act as a key analyst to critical central functions-including HR and Technology-helping them understand their spend, plan for the future, and translate data into actionable strategy. If you love deep-diving into complex spreadsheets but also enjoy building relationships across a business, this role is for you. The Role: Model Ownership & Forecasting: Maintain, update, and continuously improve the company's core forecasting and budgeting models, taking full ownership of our headcount trackers and payroll reconciliation tools to spot trends or variances early. Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles by running the numbers, investigating monthly variances, and providing clear commercial commentary on the drivers behind shifting software licensing, contractor, and recruitment costs. Data & BI Dashboards: Own and update weekly/monthly financial dashboards, ensuring key stakeholders have real-time, highly accurate visibility into key performance metrics and overhead trends. Ad-Hoc Analysis & ROI Deep-Dives: Conduct deep-dive commercial analysis into operational costs, tracking the ROI on tech spend and calculating headcount efficiency to directly support strategic decision-making. Month-End Financial Hygiene: Manage core month-end tasks by posting accurate accruals, prepayments, and reclassification journals, ensuring our financial data is accurate before it reaches business stakeholders. Process Automation & AI Integration: Actively look for ways to optimise reporting workflows. We want a tech-forward analyst who eliminates manual data-churning by leveraging advanced spreadsheet logic and modern AI tools (like Claude) to accelerate data manipulation and text-based variance summaries. The Person: "A proactive problem solver." We need someone who doesn't just flag a variance in a cost-centre, but actively reaches out to the relevant stakeholder to understand why it happened and how it impacts the forecast. You should be naturally curious, highly analytical, and eager to optimize processes. 2-4 years of experience within a dedicated FP&A, corporate finance, or commercial finance environment. Advanced Excel Skills: You should be completely at home with complex financial modeling, index/match or xlookup, nested formulas, power query, and handling large data sets without breaking a sweat. Strong Communication: The ability to translate complex financial jargon into clear, digestible insights for non-finance stakeholders in Tech and HR. Part-qualified or newly qualified in a recognised accounting body (CIMA / ACCA / ACA). Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with SQL (for data extraction) and Power BI / Tableau (for dashboard creation and data visualization). AI Usage: You are curious about or already leveraging AI tools (like Claude) to write scripts, debug formulas, or analyse complex / messy data sets more efficiently. Competitive Salary (£35 - 45,000) Company Bonus Comprehensive healthcare cash plan A generous 27 days of annual leave in addition to Bank Holidays 2 Wellbeing leave days and 2 days dedicated to giving back to your community Enjoy your birthday off! Employer pension contribution at 5% Death in service benefit (4 times your salary) Annual award recognition Fun monthly and quarterly social events Opportunities for training and professional development Flexible hybrid working arrangements
