Job Overview The Manager, Global Risk Health Plan Contracts is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of health plan contract activity, from initial term negotiation to amendment execution, on behalf of the organization's global risk managed care programs. This role serves as the primary point of contact for direct contracting with health plans and sub-contracted IPAs and operates at the intersection of contract strategy and financial analysis. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required, Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in health plan contracting, managed care, or payor relations within a health plan, and/or medical group/IPA. Minimum of 5 years of experience contracting directly with health plans and/or medical group/IPA, including negotiating and executing plan-to-plan agreements. Minimum of 5 years of experience with government programs, including Medicare Advantage and Medi-Cal/Medicaid. Supervisory or lead experience in a contracting or managed care environment preferred.
