Regulatory Affair Specialist (Contract/Up to 6k)

About the role

Serve as the key regulatory contact supporting multiple product portfolios within the food, health and applied biosciences sectors across Southeast Asia. Employment Period: 1.5 years to 2 years contract (Depending on operational needs - Convertible/Extendable) Working hours: 8.30am to 5pm Location: West Salary: Basic up to 6k (Depending on relevant experience) Job description: Support regulatory compliance activities for food, nutrition and biotechnology products across Southeast Asia. Prepare, maintain and submit regulatory dossiers for product registrations, renewals and lifecycle management. Liaise with local regulatory authorities and assist in product registration submissions and follow-ups. Review ingredients, formulations, product claims and labels to ensure compliance with local regulations. Monitor regulatory changes and assess potential business impacts across assigned markets. Prepare regulatory statements, technical documentation and scientific support materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, R&D, Commercial and Global Regulatory Affairs to support product launches and innovation projects. Track regulatory projects and maintain accurate records within internal regulatory systems. Job requirement: Bachelor's Degree or above in Life Sciences, Food Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or other related disciplines. Prior experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Registration or Regulatory Compliance within the food, nutrition, biotechnology, life sciences or related industries. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for food, food biotechnology, enzymes, animal nutrition or related product categories is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
