Scope of Position This results-driven individual, as part of the Operations team, will be responsible for leading stockroom operations to ensure accurate inventory management, efficient material flow, and timely support of production requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline operations. This position is responsible for supervision of Stockroom/Receiving personnel. This position reports to Warehouse Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and direct stockroom personnel to ensure efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of materials and supplies. Establish, document, and maintain processes to ensure inventory transaction accuracy and accountability. Train team members on inventory procedures, systems, and bin accuracy standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Manage inventory through cycle counting, reconciliation, and collaboration with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages. Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. Ensure job part kits are accurately picked, staged, and delivered in alignment with production timelines. Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory, scheduling, and material tracking. Monitor and address past-due backlog items to align inventory with demand requirements. Partner with Materials Manager to manage excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory disposition. Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives, including implementation of paperless processes and visual management systems. Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of materials to support customer expectations and production goals. Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Company management. Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency Travel Requirements: 10% Required Qualifications Associate's degree required (in absence of degree, relevant work experience may be considered). 7+ years of related experience/training in inventory management, stockroom operations, or supply chain or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Responsible for full employee lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, and training staff Experience with ERP systems and inventory control systems. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills. Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable. Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
