Responsibilities
- *Provide supervision, guidance, and support for clinical staff.
- *Facilitate communication between staff and management.
- *Prepare work schedules, assign personnel, evaluate work performance and initiate/make recommendations for personnel actions.
- *Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- *Maintain required records, and reports for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) purposes.
- *Organize, direct, and coordinate functions and activities in assigned areas.
- *Adjust staffing to meet needs and to provide adequate coverage of clinical areas.
- *Inspect areas daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards and takes appropriate action when violations occur in collaboration with Clinic Manager/Director.
- *If clinically trained, may assist provider(s) with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, as needed.
- *Ensure adequate stock of supplies and proper functioning of equipment.
- *Uses problem solving to recognize, anticipate and resolve clinical and patient care process problems in collaboration with the Clinic Manger/Director.
- *Track and report on clinical metrics and outcomes.
- *Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new clinical staff.
- *Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated service delivery.
- *Ensure staff attend all required meetings and training in the organization and within the clinic.
- *Perform other functions as required.
Requirements
- *High school diploma or equivalent required.
- *Minimum of three years working in healthcare setting required.
- *Minimum of three to five years experience in a supervisory position (health-related environment or other relevant setting) preferred.
- *Clinical training (MA, EMT, CNA, etc.) preferred.
- *BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required.
