About the role

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this is a challenging full-time position responsible for duties that include job cost accounting, royalty processing, managing accounts payable and general ledger transactions for the company's operations in the Central Region of Singapore. Responsibilities

  • Process and record supplier invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsible for accuracy of job cost accounting, inventory information and records
  • Responsible for royalty database maintenance, payment of royalties and attending to related matters
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to address any queries or issues
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable transactions
  • Assist or lead digital transformation and continuous improvement of royalty payment, accounts payable processes and controls
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications. Sound knowledge in Sage and advance Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A diploma or degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
  • Preference for candidates available on short notice
