Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute infrastructure upgrades to develop Proxima's R&D facilities.
  • Own logistics, inventory and facilities management for Proxima's R&D projects in Switzerland.
  • Support project coordination and scheduling for prototype builds.
  • Specify and procure equipment for the overall magnets R&D program.
  • Lead and execute growth initiatives that have a critical impact on Proxima's engineering team's success (e.g. planning, supporting partnerships, building processes, organizing training, implementing procedures).
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, providing solutions and building internal processes that support our rapid development philosophy, leveraging AI whenever possible.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, economics, or a related technical/analytical field.
  • At least 1 year of work experience (including internships), ideally in a dynamic industrial environment.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented team multiplier, with a willingness to take full accountability for delivering results.
  • A capable and self-aware communicator, prepared to collaborate and negotiate with suppliers and external partners.
  • Fluent in English, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and presentations.
  • Conversational in German.
  • Holding a driving license valid in Switzerland.
