Senior Electrical Engineer (HV/MV)

Requirements

• You've designed HV/MV power systems, substations, and utility-scale interconnections, with data center or mission-critical MV experience.
• You know protection coordination, relay setups, and sequence of operations deeply.
• You work fluently with relay platforms (SEL, Schneider, Siemens, ABB) and power systems analysis tools (ETAP, SKM PowerTools).
• You've worked directly with utilities and ISOs on interconnection.
• You set HV/MV standards that hold across a scaling portfolio.
• Bonus: PE license. Utility interconnection in ERCOT, PJM, MISO, or CAISO. 138kV+ substation design. Digital substations. Behind-the-meter generation

Drive the next generation of liquid cooling and electrical distribution systems. Develop and scale first-of-a-kind modular data centers. Influence behind-the-meter designs and planning for multi-GW campuses. Role Scope Lead substation and interconnection design through the MV distribution backbone of Fluidstack's data center campuses, including protection schemes. Drive utility-scale interconnections at 138kV+, working directly with utilities, ISOs, third-party engineering firms, and equipment manufacturers. Own the technical quality of HV/MV designs and support MV distribution design for the data centers themselves. Establish the HV/MV engineering standards that scale across dozens of sites.
