Additional Information

Apartment Therapy was originally launched in 2001 by interior designer Maxwell Ryan (nicknamed "The Apartment Therapist") as a weekly newsletter for clients. We officially became an independently-owned company in 2004, and since then Apartment Therapy Media has grown to become the only media group dedicated to life at home. We are committed to teaching our audience real-life solutions by giving them tools to create happy, healthy homes through our award-winning brands: Apartment Therapy, The Kitchn, Cubby, and Dorm Therapy. Together, our portfolio engages a monthly audience of 47 million users across platforms, while our dedicated team of over 140 professionals collaborates from our sunny New York City office and locations across the U.S. and around the globe. Dorm Therapy, part of Apartment Therapy Media's family of brands, is the ultimate "start here" resource for college students experiencing life on campus. We're here to help you feel at home at school. AT Media's Editorial Special Projects team is looking for a Dorm Therapy Editorial Intern to join our dynamic team for fall 2026. We are seeking a proactive and passionate individual who, under the direction of the Deputy Editor, Special Projects, will provide hands-on assistance with content production for Dorm Therapy and essential support for the Dorm Therapy team. The Dorm Therapy Editorial Intern is responsible for contributing to Dorm Therapy's student-oriented dorm decor, college life, beauty and style, organizing and cleaning, shopping, and food content on DormTherapy.com. They will work closely with the Editorial Special Projects team to execute Dorm Therapy's editorial strategy by sourcing leads, pitching stories, writing articles, and helping with various content management tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong writing, reporting, and organizational skills, a finger on the pulse of pop culture and campus trends, an eagerness to collaborate, and a positive attitude.
