About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable IT/AV Technician to support high-visibility, technology-driven Business Development presentations across the U.S. This role provides end-to-end technical support for new business pitches, live events, hybrid meetings, and internal/client-facing presentations. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in IT, audiovisual systems, live production workflows, and exceptional client-service acumen.

Responsibilities

  • AV & Pitch Support
  • Serve as the dedicated IT/AV technician for new business pitches , both onsite and offsite, including client offices and hybrid environments.
  • Lead tech checks across major web conferencing platforms (MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, WebEx, BlueJeans, etc.).
  • Design, configure, and deploy AV/VC systems for internal and external client presentations, ensuring seamless streaming, recording, and presentation delivery.
  • Set up and operate technical equipment including screens, switchers, PA systems, wireless tech, conferencing hardware, and streaming gear .
  • Coordinate with external AV vendors for large-scale and high-complexity productions.
  • Technical Expertise & Systems Management
  • Maintain deep proficiency in Cisco, Poly, MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet , and other enterprise conferencing ecosystems.
  • Support Windows and Mac environments; troubleshoot issues with Office 365, Adobe applications, and web-conferencing software .
  • Manage and monitor systems using VC reporting and monitoring tools .
  • Ensure the Pitch Tech Stack is always updated, tested, optimized, and ready for immediate use.
  • Conduct regular testing of hardware and software; provide feedback and recommendations on new tools and technologies.
  • Research, Reliability & Innovation
  • Proactively research emerging solutions to improve pitch production, hybrid meeting quality, and workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain an ongoing understanding of live streaming techniques and evolving industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic input on new technologies that enhance Business Development presentations.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with:
  • Global & US Business Development teams
  • Service Desk & Service Delivery
  • Infrastructure & Group IT
  • 3rd-party vendors and partner agencies
  • Deliver confident, client-ready communication in high-pressure and high-stakes scenarios.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT/AV experience , ideally in a client-facing, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Business Development support or live production technical experience strongly preferred.
  • Background in hybrid event support, streaming, or live show workflows is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with:
  • Cisco, Poly, MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, WebEx, BlueJeans
  • Windows & macOS
  • Microsoft Office 365, Adobe applications
  • AV hardware, switchers, PA systems, wireless tech, streaming gear
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex IT/AV issues under tight time constraints.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs , handle AV equipment, and set up physical environments.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, push, pull, or crawl under desks as needed.
  • Comfortable working on ladders for equipment installation.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the U.S. , sometimes on short notice.
