Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is looking for an Financial Software Specialist to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Team As Financial Software Specialist in our Portfolio Performance & Fair Value team, you will become a part of CIP Fund Solutions. This team is responsible for preparing and reporting investment and fund valuations, supporting investment risk mitigation optimization activities, and communicating investment financial performance across business functions and to senior management. The team also develops CIP's valuation methodologies, discount rates and model assumption frameworks, including reviews of FID models. In this role, you will be the team's systems engineering capability, enabling consistent delivery through robust tools, data flows and controls. Role As part of the Portfolio Performance & Fair Value team, you will act as valuation systems specialist for CIP's valuation and performance platforms, working alongside an existing senior Anaplan specialist to manage the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the end-to-end valuation system landscape. You will collaborate closely with the Investment, Finance, and Investor Relations teams to turn business requirements into reliable system solutions, ensuring high data quality, robust controls, and timely delivery across all CIP funds. You will advance automation and standardization, assist with releases and model or system changes, and help develop scalable processes and reporting that enhance decision support and portfolio performance monitoring. Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to: Own and administer CIP's portfolio management and valuation performance platform (Anaplan), including user support, access governance, master data maintenance and release coordination Build and improve Anaplan models, workflows, and integrations to automate manual steps, standardize processes, and improve data quality, reconciliations, and audit trails, Manage workstreams in major system and process upgrades, including requirements gathering, solution design, User Acceptance Testing, cutover planning, training, documentation and hyper care, Partner with financial model owners, Investment teams, Investor Relations and Finance to translate business requirements into system changes and scalable portfolio reporting and analysis, Build deep understanding of CIP's valuation and performance models, continuously maintain them and support robust change control, Enable portfolio monitoring and fund-level analysis by delivering reliable data sets and tooling for sensitivities and scenario analysis, Deliver timely, controlled reporting outputs to CIP's senior management and investors on investment and fund financial performance. You We are looking for a motivated individual holding a relevant degree and 1-2 years of full-time experience in a similar role within a financial institution for the institutional or fundraising segment. You are coming from a role with solid data skills, and experience in delivering complex projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Moreover, you have a solid grasp of financial modeling and valuation plus experience improving systems, automating processes, or supporting portfolio and valuation tool development and maintenance. We look for the following in a candidate: Experience working effectively in a complex environment, paired with clear interpersonal and communication skills, while partnering with senior stakeholders internationally, Capability to organize work effectively, stay on schedule, and uphold a high level of detail and precision, Experience with requirements gathering, User Acceptance Testing, and implementing controls (e.g., reconciliations, audit trail, access governance) in a financial systems context, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, plus experience collaborating across international settings, Interest in modern IT systems and advanced methods for building and maintaining complex models (e.g., multi-dimensional modelling tools), Deep interest in automating manual processes and improving efficiency through scalable, standardized solutions, Interest in data processing and practical experience with SQL and/or Python (e.g., automation, data validation, integrations), Experience with Anaplan is a plus but not required.
