Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

As Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers who would develop software systems to develop LLM facing APIs and conversation interface to render the video search and play back experience across different end points. A successful candidate would have background on GenAI and prompt engineering . The candidate would have experience developing customer-facing experiences, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in ambiguous and fast changing environment. Key job responsibilities - Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. - Own the technical strategy that leads to improved search experience. - Inculcate culture of experimentation and innovation. - Own operational excellence of the services they own. - Management of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, career development, performance management of a best-of-class engineering team.
