Proof of citizenship status will be required at time of hire.This is a high-visibility individual contributor role where you'll translate portfolio strategy into measurable outcomes-bringing structure, transparency, and accountability to how we manage vendors and platforms.Portfolio Strategy & Lifecycle ManagementMaintain a clear view of vendor and application strategy, ownership, and lifecycleSupport planning across key stages: sustain, enhance, modernize, and retireFacilitate regular portfolio reviews to track progress, surface risks, and drive decisionsVendor Governance & PerformanceBuild and maintain vendor scorecards (SLAs, performance, usage, satisfaction)Track issues, manage escalations, and ensure follow-through to resolutionHelp ensure vendors deliver on commitments and business expectationsLicense & Usage ManagementLead regular license and usage reviews (e.g., purchased vs. used vs. needed)Partner with teams to reclaim unused licenses and reduce wasteProvide clear insights to support planning and renewal readinessRisk & Compliance CoordinationPartner with Security, Risk, and Legal teams to track vendor risk and compliance requirementsMaintain visibility into risk status and help ensure timely remediationRenewal Readiness SupportPrepare structured insights ahead of renewals (usage, performance, risks, needs)Enable informed decision-making; Strategic Sourcing leads negotiationsFinancial & Portfolio InsightsAnalyze usage trends, cost drivers, and portfolio performanceIdentify inefficiencies and support cost optimization effortsContribute to planning and forecasting discussions with data-driven insightsRequired7+ years of experience in technology program management, vendor management, or portfolio governanceExperience working with technology vendors (SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or platforms)Understanding of vendor performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs)Comfort building and improving processes in evolving environmentsApplication and InterviewAlight requires all virtual interviews to be conducted on video.Our commitment to InclusionWe celebrate differences and believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
