Responsibilities

- Develops digital images, creates, updates and maintains patient data files and ensures transmission of images to consultant radiologists.
- Manages diagnostic evaluation reports.
- Provides written and verbal reports to physicians recognizing cases requiring immediate attention.
- Interfaces with consultant radiologists and manages the operational and fiduciary compliance.
- Interfaces with clinic staff, technical support for regular software upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Responsible for imaging patient records, creates and maintains files and preforms audits.

- Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Capable of functioning independently and proven ability in exercising independent judgment.
- Consultation skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, public speaking skills, and proficiency with computer system.
- Must be familiar with all standard radiographic procedures.
- Possesses technical ability to obtain optimal images.
- Have fluency in both oral and written English.
- Experience Required:
- Current experience in direct patient care and must have worked a minimum of 6-months of the last 12-months in career field.
- Maintain continuing education activities.
- Experience with digital acquisition and transmission of images desired.
- Education Required:
- Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or home country equivalent.
- Certified Ultrasound Technician or home country equivalent preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
- Other Special Qualifications:
- Obtain medical clearance and maintain current immunizations.
- Must be able to relocate to Balad, Iraq.
- A valid passport from country of record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Balad.
