Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale

Within SPB, the Search Relevance team's mission is to help shoppers easily find and discover the most useful and relevant sponsored products while improving advertisers' ability to reach the right shoppers in the right context. We develop capabilities to understand shoppers' queries, shopping missions, and product attributes to identify ASINs that are contextually relevant to each shopper. As a Machine Learning Engineer on this team, you will collaborate with scientists and product managers to work backwards from customers, identify problems, and propose innovative solutions. You will mentor junior engineers, raise the bar for engineering excellence, and have a positive impact on hundreds of millions of customers.
