Location: Defiance Regional Hospital Department: Materials Management Weekly Hours: 40 Status: Full time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: As the Stock Room Clerk, you will ensure the right supplies and equipment are available when needed for the patient care team. By optimizing supply chain processes, you contribute to improved operational efficiency, reduced costs, and better patient outcomes. ACCOUNTABILITIES Supports Materials Management procurement needs according to ProMedica contract matrix. Interacts with vendors according to ProMedica vendor policy. Monitors inventory and replenish according to established parts . Proactively rotates stock and identifies obsolete inventory to reduce outdated supplies. Organizes and maintains records pertinent to stock levels, supply quantities issued and other data; recommends modifications to quotas or inventories to department leadership. Maintains established department documents and files, along with quality assurance programs and safety standards. Verifies and receives incoming materials and equipment. Rectifies and prepares documents for any discrepancies. Prepares and expedites purchase orders (PO) and work with Purchasing to maintain up- tod ate PO activity.
