Investigate and resolve basic billing discrepancies, process payments, refunds, and adjustments. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions. Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to support seamless billing operations. Educate clients on general billing-related issues as needed. Contact clients and insurance companies to obtain information for prior authorization and claim submission. Navigate various payor types, including commercial/private payors, Medicare, and Medicaid. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance billing procedures. People Manager No Education, Experience, and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology (training provided). Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Passion for providing excellent customer service in the healthcare industry. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Calm and professional approach to stressful or difficult situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with billing software (Xifin, Careviso) and Salesforce is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work is performed in a professional office setting with standard lighting, temperature control, and low to moderate noise levels. Your standard work schedule and hours will be established in collaboration with your leader and may be adjusted to align with evolving business needs.
