Are you an aspiring product leader with a passion for building innovative products? Nielsen is seeking enthusiastic and strategic Product Managers to join our growing product team. Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Contribute to developing and articulating the product vision and strategy for your assigned product area, ensuring alignment with company goals. Support identifying market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform product direction.
  • Roadmap Contribution: Assist in building and maintaining the product roadmap by helping prioritize features and initiatives based on strategic value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Requirements Definition: Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical capabilities into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams throughout the product lifecycle. Facilitate effective communication and coordination to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Market & Customer Research: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to gain valuable insights into user behavior, pain points, and emerging trends.
  • Data-Driven Performance & Iteration: Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for your products. Monitor product performance and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and guide future iterations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, proactively communicating product updates, progress, and key learnings.

Requirements

  • Overall 6-10 years of experience with minimum 4 years in product management required
  • MBA from a top Indian or global business school and technical undergraduate degree strongly preferred
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans and detailed product requirements.
  • Technical Acumen: Foundational understanding of software development processes and technologies, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to use data to inform product decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Customer Focus: Deep empathy for users and a passion for building products that solve real problems.
