Join our dynamic team as a detail-oriented and highly organized Configuration Management Specialist to manage the documentation, tracking, and control of our technical and operational configurations. This role ensures that all engineering, systems, software, and hardware changes are properly documented, evaluated, and maintained. The ideal candidate will work closely with Engineering, IT, QA, Manufacturing, and Operations to ensure effective and compliant configuration management practices. The day-to-day Define and execute configuration management plans for engineering programs, ensuring alignment with company standards Evaluate and route engineering change requests (ECRs), ensuring they are properly documented, reviewed, approved, and communicated across teams Manage and lead configuration control meetings (CCB), including scheduling, agenda setting, and driving decisions to close Assess risk and impact of proposed design changes and communicate findings to decision-makers Ensure data accuracy and traceability in all configuration documentation, including change requests and implementation checklists Review technical documents for completeness and determine required corrective follow-up Maintain configuration data throughout the product lifecycle to ensure compliance with release standards Prepare and validate configuration data required for major design gate reviews (PDR, CDR, FRR) Model best practices in SolidWorks PDM and recommend workflow adjustments to improve efficiency Develop and provide training to promote effective management processes Identify and contribute to process improvements that enhance configuration accuracy and efficiency Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations (AS9100, EIA-649, MIL-STD-973, ISO-9001, ITAR/EAR).
