This role is ideal for a business product leader who is comfortable using strong>Agentic AI /strong> to support discovery, requirements, and stakeholder communication. br> br> strong>What You ll Do br> br> /strong> strong>Digital Assets Product Ownership br> br> /strong> ul> li>Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for digital asset posting, books and records, and lifecycle servicing. /li> li>Define workflows for trade capture, posting, reconciliation, reporting, and exception handling. /li> li>Understand trade life cycle with relevant experience with custody and settlements br> br> /li> /ul> strong>Business Workflow & Books-and-Records Expertise br> br> /strong> ul> li>Serve as the business owner for how digital assets move through Schwab s books and records. /li> li>Partner with various stakeholders to ensure crypto activity is posted accurately, reconciled daily, and audit ready. /li> li>Ensure product design meets regulatory, accounting, and tax reporting requirements. /li> li>Embed controls into workflows with Legal, Compliance, and Risk. br> br> /li> /ul> strong>AI-First Product Practice (Core Expectation) br> br> /strong> ul> li>Use autonomous Agents as a core tool for discovery, specification, validation, and communication. /li> li>Apply AI-assisted tooling to: /li> ul> li>Break epics into clear user stories and acceptance criteria /li> li>Draft PRDs, business rules, and workflow diagrams /li> li>Summarize stakeholder input, meeting notes, and regulatory materials /li> li>Create executive-ready summaries and decision memos /li> /ul> li>Partner closely with TPM and engineering on a multi-step, iterative AI-centric development lifecycle (AI-DLC) that supports agent-assisted delivery. /li> li>Identify ways AI can simplify, accelerate, or reduce risk in product and operational workflows. br> /li> /ul> strong>Stakeholder Orchestration & Delivery br> br> /strong> ul> li>Serve as the primary business product contact to coordinate across teams, including partnering with multiple scrum teams as needed. /li> li>Lead backlog refinement, sprint reviews, roadmap reviews, and stakeholder demos. /li> li>Align roadmap priorities with delivery sequencing, dependencies, and risk. /li> li>Own business go-live readiness, including runbooks, UAT, and post-launch health. /li> li>Provide concise, decision-oriented updates to senior leadership. br> br> /li> /ul> strong>What Success Looks Like br> br> /strong> ul> li>Digital asset books and records are accurate, reconciled, and audit ready. /li> li>Crypto posting and servicing workflows are clearly documented and improved over time. /li> li>AI is used consistently across discovery, specification, and communication. /li> li>Engineering receives clear product artifacts ready for agent-assisted delivery. /li> li>Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance trust the product direction and controls. br> br> /li> /ul>What you have br> br> em>To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of challenging the status quo, this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have. br> br> /em> strong>Required Qualifications br> br> /strong> ul> li>6+ years of product ownership or management in financial services, custody, banking, or capital markets. /li> li>Strong knowledge of books and records, posting & reconciliation workflows. /li> li>Demonstrated fluency with Agentic AI tools to support discovery, writing, analysis, and stakeholder synthesis. /li> li>Ability to turn complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear business requirements. /li> li>Experience working in regulated environments with Risk, Compliance, and Legal partners. /li> li>Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership. br> br> /li> /ul> strong>Strongly Preferred Qualifications br> br> /strong> ul> li>Experience with digital assets, crypto custody, blockchain, stablecoins etc . /li> li>Understanding of on-chain concepts such as wallets, keys, fees, confirmations, staking, and bridging. /li> li>Experience with AI-assisted delivery models. /li> li>Strong systems thinking and ability to influence without authority. br> br> /li> /ul>In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities. br> br>What s in it for you br> br>At Schwab, you re empowered to shape your future.
