Location: Kuwait Required Clearance: Top Secret Certifications: DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III with one of the following: Virtual Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or a higher-level Virtual Certification, or NetApp Certified Engineer (NCIE). Required Education: HS Diploma/GED Required Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT; 3 years in a Combatant Command, 2 years in DoD, 5 years in commercial. Position Description: PingWind is seeking a Network Engineer Lead to provide senior-level technical leadership for the design, implementation, security, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. This role leads a team of network engineers and administrators, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network systems that support organizational operations and mission-critical applications. Primary Responsibilities: Typical Responsibilities/Tasks: - Experience in network, systems, transmissions, and architecture design to support USARCENT G6 FWD strategies and goals. - Ability to provide technical assistance and advice to USARCENT G6 FWD Operations Leadership on engineering solutions to enhance warfighter capabilities. - Strong leadership skills to supervise all networks, systems, transmissions, and voice contract workforce within USARCENT G6 FWD. - Effective communication skills to support stakeholder meetings, staff meetings, and engineering discussions. - Design networks, systems, transmissions, and voice architecture that are modular in nature and enable USARCENT G6 FWD to reduce IT systems implementation costs and provide a means of incrementally scaling services as needed. - Support stakeholder meetings, staff meetings, and engineering meetings for the USARCENT G6 FWD E&I.
