AECOM is seeking a Traffic or Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineer to be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic engineering, ITS, and emerging transportation technology with leadership skills to support our Traffic/ITS team in Minnesota. The successful candidate will need to be a forward-looking team player who can work collaboratively with others, in a dynamic setting to support external client engagement, project management, business development, and internal leadership. Job Responsibilities Conduct technical work in the field of traffic engineering, ITS, and emerging technology Lead or support a team of professionals to deliver traffic, ITS or emerging technology projects Support growth of traffic and ITS practice in Minnesota Provide program support functions for large engineering programs across the Midwest Collaborate pursuits of both traditional government RFPs as well as unsolicited proposals related to traffic, ITS, and new technologies in transportation Minimum Requirements BA/BS and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Minnesota or ability to obtain license within 6 months
