Responsibilities

• You'll play a pivotal role in delivering state-of-the-art transmission line infrastructure (up to 500kV) as part of the AEMO Integrated System Plan (ISP) and Renewable Energy Zones (REZ).
• Advise clients on complex transmission line design projects from concept to delivery
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
• Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions
• Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
• Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance

Requirements

• Relevant engineering qualifications and 5+ years' consulting or utilities experience in Electrical Engineering
• Working towards CPEng and/or RPEQ (preferred)
• Strong capability in Transmission Line modelling - experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Tower.
• A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
• A willingness to travel occasionally and support site-based roles when needed
