Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities on 3rd shift at the Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility. You will partner closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure products meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements through testing, inspections, documentation, and training. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Conduct microbiological testing and monitoring to support product safety and quality. Organize and manage nutritional compliance sampling programs. Maintain accurate records of sampling, testing, and results. Support food safety and regulatory audits through preparation, execution, and follow‑up activities. Deliver food safety training to Quality Assurance and Production associates. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to support reliable testing results. Perform and train others on preoperational inspections. Inspect incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. Perform analytical and physical testing on ingredients, components, and finished products. Conduct routine facility inspections to support safety and quality standards. Complete assigned reports and summaries within required timelines. Provide coverage for Quality Assurance associates during planned time off. Maintain laboratory specifications, procedures, and documentation. Perform process evaluations to assess equipment operating conditions, variability, and control. Support the development and execution of Quality Systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and verify Critical Control Points throughout the plant, including pre‑shipment reviews. Ingredients Required for Your Success High School Diploma or GED required Strong understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures programs. Experience with aseptic plating techniques. Knowledge of environmental monitoring programs, including foodborne pathogens, indicator organisms, and sanitary design principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and Access skills. Experience working with SAP systems. Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems.
