As an Associate Director within the Construction Advisory (Claims & Disputes) practice, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex, high-value dispute engagements across global projects. You will combine forensic delay and quantum expertise, contractual insight, and client advisory skills to support clients through contentious scenarios, including arbitration and litigation. You will play a key role in driving engagement delivery, managing client relationships, and developing team capability, while working closely with international stakeholders across EMEA & APAC. Job Responsibilities Engagement Delivery & Technical Leadership Lead the execution of construction claims and dispute assignments from initiation through to conclusion Direct the preparation and review of EOT, disruption, prolongation, and quantum claims Oversee and validate forensic delay analyses using industry-recognised methodologies Ensure deliverables are robust, evidence-based, and suitable for formal dispute resolution forums Dispute Advisory & Expert Support Provide strategic advice on entitlement, causation, and quantum Interpret complex contract provisions (e.g., FIDIC, EPC contracts) to support claims positions Lead the preparation of expert reports, rebuttals, and claim narratives Support legal teams and participate in arbitration, adjudication, and mediation processes Client Management & Business Development Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining trusted advisor relationships Identify opportunities for repeat work and new engagements Support proposals, thought leadership, and market-facing initiatives Team Leadership & Quality Assurance Manage, mentor, and develop project teams Review and ensure quality and consistency across all work products Contribute to recruitment, training, and capability development within the practice Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field 7-10 years of experience in construction claims, disputes, or project controls Strong expertise in delay analysis methodologies (e.g., TIA, Windows Analysis, APAB) Demonstrated experience in EOT and disruption claims preparation for projects within India and APAC/EMEA Region Strong knowledge of FIDIC or equivalent international standard contracts Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project and MS Excel Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills Preferred Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, PMP, AACE) Experience working on projects within India and APAC/EMEA Region Exposure to EPC, infrastructure, or mega-project environments Previous experience in consultancy/advisory or dispute resolution firms Experience supporting arbitration proceedings or expert witness assignments Some of the Benefits We Have Include J.S.
