You may qualify based on your experience as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Perform administrative and clerical work in support of the office. Operation of reproduction equipment, typing, record keeping, and filing procedures. Use office software and hardware to create spreadsheets, compile reports, data processing, correspondences and other documents. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Coordinate staff hiring, employment requirements, scheduling, and arrange coverage options. Monitor and report time and attendance to ensure employees are paid in a timely manner. Communicate office functions and requirements. Receive and screen all incoming phone calls routing call to the appropriate person. Provide customer service to visitors, patients and their families, staff, employees and service officers. Manages and provides budget support functions: Compiles, gathers, and maintains financial data and initiates purchasing for equipment and other supply needs.
