About the role
Our client, a manufacturing company in the oil & gas sector, is looking to fill this CNC Machinist position on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on technical role suited to a candidate with genuine machining capability-beyond basic machine operation, you will be expected to read and interpret mechanical drawings independently and work confidently with Fanuc-controlled CNC turning and/or milling machines. .
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily machine set-up
- Operate CNC turning and/or milling machines
- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Apply knowledge of measuring instruments and ball gauges
- Perform basic programming (an advantage)
- Maintain housekeeping standards at the workstation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in CNC turning or milling, preferably within the oil & gas industry
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with Fanuc Controls
- Minimum NTC2 qualification
- Work Arrangements
- Location: West Singapore
- Working hours: Monday - Friday
- Day shift: 8.00am - 5.15pm
- Night shift: 10.45pm - 8.00am
