Who You Will Work With: The vacant Leader, Fraud Portal Domain, T&O role will report to the Head, Fraud, T&O, and will drive the strategy, development, and delivery of one of our fraud management platforms. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and security, leading a high-performing team responsible for building scalable, data-driven solutions that manage fraud across Interac's network.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technology strategy
  • Translate fraud, risk, and business requirements into scalable platform solutions
  • Drive a data-first approach to fraud capabilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Champion Agile methodologies, with a focus on MVP and phased delivery strategies
  • Ensure timely, high-quality releases aligned to business priorities
  • Oversee the design of data-driven solution architectures
  • Ensure seamless integration across internal systems and external partners
  • Balance innovation with stability, scalability, and security requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of technology professionals
  • Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture
  • Partner closely with fraud, risk, product, and operations teams
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Align priorities across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Own budgeting and forecasting for the domain
  • Optimize spend while ensuring delivery of strategic priorities
  • What You Bring:
  • 10-15 years of experience in technology, with progressive responsibility
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • Strong expertise in SDLC processes and Agile delivery frameworks
  • Experience designing data-driven architectures and integrated platforms
  • Proven track record of delivering through MVP and phased approaches
  • Solid experience in resource planning, budgeting, and financial management
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in fraud, payments, or financial services, is considered an asset
  • Exposure to real-time transaction systems or risk platforms, is considered an asset
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
