HR Executive (Construction / Payroll)

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for office staff, site workers, and subcontract employees accurately and on time.
• Maintain and verify attendance records, overtime, leave, and timesheets from project sites.
• Coordinate with site supervisors for manpower updates and payroll inputs.
• Prepare payroll reports, salary summaries, and reconciliation statements.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory deductions, and government regulations.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, work permits, and HR documentation.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities including employee documentation.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare employment letters, confirmations, warnings, and other HR-related correspondence.
• Monitor staff leave balances, claims, and benefits administration.
• Assist in recruitment coordination and interview scheduling when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
• Support HR audits, compliance checks, and internal reporting.
• Collaborate with finance and project teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR/payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry, handling high volume payroll.
