Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Must be a trustworthy, motivated self-starter who can work as part of a team or unsupervised Take personal ownership and pride in the quality of work and attention to detail System troubleshooting and repair on Electrical motors, three-phase controls, Pneumatic systems, Waterjet, Laser, CNC machines, Abrasive blasting equipment, Welders, Overhead cranes, forklifts, Manlifts, etc. Primary focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery Troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuit boards to the component level Assist in facilities management and maintenance Assist in IT department, networking & systems configuration, and install Participate in new equipment & systems integration and installation Adjusting/Repairing electronically controlled devices, PLC programming Ability to operate manufacturing and other shop equipment Any other assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be experienced with 3-phase and single-phase power distribution; Associate Degree or Technical Institute required
- Must be comfortable working in/on scissor lifts and boom lifts to 35'
- Experience with industrial overhead cranes and crane controls
- Experience with forklift repair, MIG welders, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, general building maintenance, basic CNC machine troubleshooting.
- Be able to operate forklift, snowplow, skid steer, etc.
- The ability to read hydraulic and electrical blueprints
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; able to handle shifting priorities and deadlines; able to properly prioritize.
- Experience with personal computers, networking, and Windows-based software.
- Must know how to use precision measuring equipment
- Ability to comply will all work-related deadlines and be available as needed for overtime.
- Drivers license
- Ability to comply with all safety requirements
- Have good housekeeping habits and strict adherence to safety
- Willing to assist in other areas as needed.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employees must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.
