Electrical Design Draftsman

About the role

Our client is looking for an Electrical Design Draftsman to join their team, preparing electrical drawings and supporting their project and sales teams from design through to testing. This is a great opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience to grow their technical drafting career in the power generation industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce AutoCAD electrical drawings
• Prepare production drawings, including detailed BOM list
• Generate as-built drawings based on panel testing, FAT and SAT, as required
• Attend meetings with Sales/ Project teams to resolve drawing-related issues, and liaise with consultants/ customers on design matters and drawing preparation
• Travel to Malaysia as required; perform overtime when needed
• Carry out urgent tasks and drawing assignments as directed by superior
• Provide support to Project Engineers when additional manpower is required
• Attend panel Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in Singapore or Malaysia, as required

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Min 1 year of relevant drafting experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD

📍 Tuas - Company transport provided (Marsiling & Jurong East MRT pick-up points) ⏰ Mon to Fri, 8.30am - 5.15pm
