Make an impact As the Property Accountant is responsible for journal entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, accounts receivable and daily and monthly cash disbursements and receipts. Reconcile Accounts Receivable, security deposits and rent roll to financial statements for all properties. Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports prepare monthly journal entries, financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations. Assist with annual budget preparation compiling key assumptions and capital budget information. Analyze general ledger accounts and review ledger accuracy. Oversee Accounts Payable function Manage cash functions effectively. Research and respond to inquiries from Property Managers concerning tenant statements. What you should bring Knowledge of real estate databases, transaction processes, including contract reviews. Understanding of accounting principles and procedures. Experience in accounting for multifamily real estate. Proficiency in Excel and Yardi. Ability to represent company in a professional manner. Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
