About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to support day-to-day HR operations and contribute to a seamless employee experience. This role will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and will play a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of processes across the employee lifecycle, while helping to maintain accuracy, compliance and engagement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day HR operations and a variety of administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee the employee onboarding process including managing post recruitment efforts, new hire employee orientation, logistics and documentation.
  • Support offboarding processes by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring all processes are complete.
  • Own HR data management, including maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity across platforms.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (eg, IT, Admin, etc) as needed to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and a seamless employee experience.
  • Proactively identify and address gaps in employee documentation and overall processes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Help organise and facilitate employee engagement initiatives such as events, surveys or other such engagement activities.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration by coordinating inputs and ensuring timely updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Deliver, refine and automate HR reports and analysis to identify key employee trends, producing periodic/ad-hoc HR dashboards, including headcount, attrition, onboarding, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • High proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, GSuite, dashboard creation and analytics.
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and data-backed recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written - with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically.
  • Able to prioritise complex workloads, manage time effectively and work well under pressure.
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem-solver; comfortable organising and interpreting data.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Willing to take the initiative and provide suggestions and ideas to contribute to the success of the role/team.
  • Experience in design, video editing, AI and newer-age presentation tools is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices is a strong plus.
