About the role
We are seeking a Buyer (d/m/w) for Aftermarket Procurement to join the Airbus team located in Hamburg, Germany. You will: - Source and secure commercial conditions for adhoc customer orders and quotes across all product types with competitive outcomes. - Lead review meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to address and fulfill customer requirements. - Negotiate with suppliers to strengthen profit and loss performance in customer service. - Identify recurring sourcing challenges, implement corrective measures, and optimize procurement strategies as necessary. - Collaborate with stakeholders from supply management, planning, and product management to support seamless operations. - Assist in transforming and improving IT tools and processes, utilizing tools such as SAP, Skywise, and other relevant applications. - Identify cost-optimization opportunities to enhance aftersales competitiveness. - Contribute to weekly performance reviews and drive targeted action plans based on analytical insights. #### VORAUSSSETZUNGEN: You bring: - A degree in Technical Studies, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field. - 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management, and supply chain/logistics processes. - Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and foundational knowledge of SAP. - Experience in data analysis, improvement processes (KVP), and project management. - Fluency in English at a negotiation level; knowledge of German or French is an advantage. - Strong analytical capabilities paired with excellent communication and presentation skills. - A process-driven mindset and natural ability to identify and capitalize on areas for improvement. #### Benefits: - An unlimited employment contract - 35-hour workweek - 30 days of annual leave - An annual salary of around 80.000 € - An attractive package following the Equal Pay model - Flexible handling of overtime through compensatory time-off or payment
