Here's what you'll do: The Senior Project Manager - Airfield will serve as the Contracting Entity's representative and will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects from initial planning and design through to successful completion and commissioning. The role entails ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of projects in accordance with approved specifications, while meeting all project goals and objectives. The Senior Project Manager will ensure that each project is delivered in compliance with the Contracting Entity's employer's requirements and aligned with the strategic objectives and overall vision of the portfolio. Programme Requirements, Standards & Performance Oversee and monitor project delivery, ensuring effective management of schedule, interfaces, costs, variations, contracts, and risks, while coordinating with relevant stakeholders and functions as required. Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with the Contracting Entity's standards, methodologies, and strategic objectives. Manage and maintain the project relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager and other key stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed performance, quality, safety, and governance requirements. Team Management Lead and manage a team of Project Managers responsible for the successful delivery of individual projects within the programme. Provide direction, oversight, and support to ensure appropriate project management processes, controls, and performance measures are implemented and maintained. Develop and maintain comprehensive resource plans to support the effective delivery of all projects under the Senior Project Manager's remit. Provide technical, commercial, and contractual guidance to Project Managers in the execution of their responsibilities. Monitor, review, and report on project and team performance, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the Programme Director and wider programme team to resolve challenges and ensure successful project outcomes. Project Management Activities Lead the overall coordination and integration of projects, ensuring interfaces and dependencies are identified and managed throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain and manage the Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) matrix and associated governance frameworks. Coordinate and oversee the activities of design consultants, technical teams, contractors, and other external service providers. Chair and facilitate design review meetings, ensuring timely design approvals and communication of design acceptance to contractors. Manage the communication and implementation of design changes, ensuring all affected stakeholders are informed and engaged. Prepare and deliver regular project performance reports covering progress, key milestones, risks, issues, and construction activities. Maintain the project risk register, ensuring risks are actively managed, reviewed, and reported through regular progress meetings. Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, procedures, templates, and reporting tools. Implement and monitor performance management and project control measures. Manage the project change control process and ensure appropriate governance and approvals are maintained. Oversee the effective flow of information between the project team, client, and stakeholders through structured meetings, reporting, and communications. NEC Contract Responsibilities Review, assess, and accept contractor programme submissions in accordance with contract requirements. Administer contract obligations in accordance with the NEC Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC), promoting collaboration, mutual trust, and cooperation. Issue communications, notices, and contractual documentation as required under the contract and undertake all associated duties and responsibilities. Carry out the duties as the Project Manager as required by the Contracting Entity's contract for the Programme, maintaining close contact with the Client in order to ensure the Project Manager's actions reflect the Contracting Entity's objectives for the project Manage the compensation event process so that the Contractor is fairly compensated for any Contracting Entity- initiated change on the project Ensure the Contractor notifies compensation events in good time so that the Contracting Entity is not disadvantaged Assess payment after each assessment interval Ready to push the limits of what's possible?
