Technical Writer/technical Documentation Engineer Position summary: We are looking for passionate Technical Writer responsible for contributing towards writing, editing technical documentation for the products. The engineer should self-driven and must be able to organize his/her ideas, tasks and articulate the content in the reader understandable form. Roles and Responsibilities Document technically accurate content for AppviewX products Research and determine the technical documentation needs for the features Estimate efforts and deliver content on time Ensure quality of the documentation Troubleshoot Git conflicts, understand architecture, manage the CMS (Content Management System) Execute day-to-day information engineering activities Create in-depth user guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation. Identify problem areas or structural deficiencies and proactively contribute to their improvement. Experience creating infographics to more clearly communicate workflow processes and abstract topics. Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques. Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use. Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel." Proven experience producing technical content for public consumption. Required Skillset Experience with authoring and publishing high-quality content in XML Experience working with the tools preferred: Confluence/JIRA, Git/Github/Gitlab, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Hands-On experience with Oxygen XML Authoring tool Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Strong written communication, editing, and information architecture skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines. AI tools for writing, content generation, and documentation automation Qualification Bachelor's degree in Engineering/core sciences, or Masters in English Language/Technical Communication 3-6 years of experience in technical writing, with at least 1-2 years of experience in XML-based structured authoring and Git Integrations
