Responsibilities

- Mentor and support EHS Specialists I, EHS Technicians, and site personnel.
- Conduct specialized safety training, deliver project-specific onboarding, and reinforce competency requirements.
- Manage EHS Insights reporting accuracy, data quality, and performance metrics.
- Conduct advanced air monitoring, sampling, equipment calibration, and industrial hygiene tasks.
- Lead weekly project walkthroughs with project leadership and provide risk-based recommendations.
- Oversee maintenance of certifications, medical screenings, and training tracking for assigned personnel.
- Manage PPE needs, procurement, and inventory at the project level.
- Participate in compliance assurance audits, corporate assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support development of safety policies, training materials, and best practices.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- 5-10+ years of progressive safety experience in heavy civil, environmental, industrial, mining, oil & gas, or comparable high-risk environments.
- Proven ability to lead field teams and influence safety culture.
- Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- OSHA 500 or 510
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER
- 30-Hour OSHA Construction
- Competent Person training (excavations, scaffolding, fall protection, confined space)
- EM385-1-1 coursework
- BCSP certification strongly preferred (e.g., CHST, CSP)
- MSHA training
