You can list these under your job duties on your CV to show exactly what you can do on-site: Installation & Cabling: Perform physical installation of trunking, conduits, and brackets along corridors and site areas. Pull cables for data, telephone, and security networks. Device Mounting & Termination: Mount and terminate field devices including card readers, magnetic locks (maglocks), break glasses, CCTV cameras, and power supplies. Testing & Commissioning: Support engineers in conducting internal testing, loop checks, and point-to-point testing to ensure all security links are working correctly. Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine preventive maintenance, find and fix wiring faults, and replace faulty equipment or batteries to keep the system running smoothly. Site Coordination: Follow structural floor plans accurately and report daily installation progress and material shortages to the project supervisor.
