Responsibilities
- Review technical specifications for new build, ship repair, and conversion projects.
- Coordinate technical project matters with designers, clients, classification societies, yard production teams, vendors, and system integrators to meet design requirements and project timelines.
- Liaise with internal engineering teams to prepare drawing lists, drawing schedules, and responses to project-related comments.
- Arrange and attend technical meetings in Batam, Singapore, or other locations when required.
- Manage technical correspondence, document flow, and engineering information between all project parties.
- Review contract requirements, technical specifications, equipment specifications, scope of work, and supply requirements to meet design obligations.
- Monitor design and engineering drawing progress to ensure timely submission, classification review closure, and vendor specification follow-up.
- Read and review design drawings, classification rules, and maritime regulations.
- Prepare written replies on technical matters and follow up with relevant parties until issues are resolved.
- Work with the engineering document controller to ensure proper filing and updating of emails, drawings, document status, drawing lists, and vendor specifications.
- Work independently and support the team when required.

- Diploma / Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of project engineering experience in the marine or offshore industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
- Able to manage correspondence, prepare meeting minutes, and coordinate engineering documents to support project compliance and delivery schedules.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Able to communicate with internal and external project parties.
- Able to travel to Batam or other countries for technical meetings when required.
