Position Title: Student Success Coach, Freeman College of Management Position Type: Full time Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Categories: Staff Exempt Job Summary: The Freeman College of Management at Bucknell University is seeking a Student Success Coach. The Student Success Coach serves as a central resource within the Freeman College of Management, providing proactive, holistic, and student-centered support to promote academic success, persistence, retention, and overall student well-being. This highly relational role maintains an active caseload of students and provides individualized coaching, case management, intervention support, and academic navigation assistance for students experiencing academic, personal, social, or transitional challenges. The position partners closely with Academic Associate Deans, faculty advisors, Athletics, Student Affairs, and other campus partners to coordinate support strategies, connect students and families with appropriate campus resources, and help students successfully navigate the academic and personal demands of college life. The Student Success Coach also supports students in understanding curriculum requirements, academic policies and procedures, major exploration, and degree progression while reinforcing holistic advising efforts across the Freeman College. Through proactive outreach, monitoring of student success indicators, and responsive communication with students, families, faculty, and staff, this role plays a critical part in advancing student engagement, persistence, retention, and timely graduation. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage complex and sensitive student situations in a fast-paced, student-facing environment. Reporting to the Academic Associate Dean at the Freeman College of Management, this position is a full-time, 12 month, benefits-eligible, exempt staff position. Work setting is on campus, in person.
