We are looking for an individual who is ready to make a difference by supporting and driving safety initiatives and implementation of our safety management system. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in developing, supporting, and maintaining our Safety Management System Participate in facility safety audits Create audit checklist criteria for the site Implement corporate safety programs, policies, and procedures Provide technical guidance on OSHA compliance and industry safety standards Develop and coordinate safety training Provide monthly safety performance and trending reports Support site EHS leads as needed Develop ergonomic and safety evaluation tools, guidance, and checklists Develop training and lead new employee orientation Education and Experience Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Safety/Industrial Systems preferred 2-3 years minimum of supporting safety in manufacturing High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point Ability to work well with people in various levels of the organization Strong written and verbal skills Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
