Job Description: Segment : Royal Canin Type of contract : Permanent (CDI) Location : Aimargues near Montpellier, France As a Global Senior Scientific Communications manager - Functional Complements , you will play a pivotal role in establishing Royal Canin as a credible, science‑driven leader in Supplements and Treats. You will design and lead the global scientific communications strategy, build trust with key internal stakeholders, and strengthen Royal Canin's reputation externally-unlocking veterinary recommendation, which is critical to success in this growing category. This role sits at the intersection of science, communication, innovation, and influence, and offers a rare opportunity to build long‑term capabilities from the ground up. What will be your key responsibilities? Build and lead the global scientific communications strategy for Functional Complements, including KOL strategy and scientific forums participation Create a clear, compelling scientific narrative for Supplements and Treats as part of holistic nutritional programs Develop and oversee global scientific content for internal and external use, coordinating internal teams and external agencies Partner cross‑functionally with Portfolio, Activation, Marketing, R&D, and Communications teams to deliver aligned launches Support Regions and Markets in executing scientific communication and KOL strategies Contribute to science‑based positions, advisory boards, and post‑launch clinical cases to build thought leadership Act as a scientific spokesperson and trusted expert for internal and external stakeholders Manage scientific communications projects, budget contribution, and ways of working for the category What profile we are looking for: Science degree in veterinary science, nutrition, food science, or biological sciences (highly desirable) 3-5 years' experience in scientific communication, medical/technical education, or science‑based marketing Proven ability to translate complex scientific topics into impactful communications Experience influencing professionals, KOLs, or scientific communities Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple fast‑paced initiatives Comfortable building processes and frameworks from scratch in new business areas Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence without formal authority Proactive, collaborative, detail‑oriented, and driven to deliver results What can you expect from Mars?
