- Use a wide range of motion, including but not limited to, sitting down and standing up with children, getting up off of and down onto the floor, moving quickly, walking, running, hopping, dancing, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Work at least two hours daily outside in temperatures between 32 and 90 degrees in a variety of weather conditions such as, sunny, cloudy, overcast, and ground conditions that are dry, damp, wet, or snowy.
- Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification, trainings, and other certification, are required within 30 days of employment.

- Annual professional development (currently 21 hours)
- Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Have earned at least one of the following: Associate's degree (or higher) in early childhood education, early childhood development, child and family studies or a closely related field; OR A high school diploma (or its equivalent) AND a current Child Development Associate credential.
- One or more years as an assistant teacher in a licensed child development center.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

- Pay Range:
- The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
- $17.95 - $26.84
- Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
