About the role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the CNRJ Fire & Emergency Services Division of COMMANDER, NAVAL REGION JAPAN. ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating experience managing fire department personnel, operational readiness, training programs, emergency response activities, budgeting, and regulatory compliance programs. Experience directing fire suppression, prevention, hazardous materials response, and emergency incident operations in high-risk environments. Experience supervising personnel actions, evaluating employee performance, administering discipline, and ensuring compliance with NFPA, OSHA and DoD. Experience coordinating with command leadership and external agencies on fire protection, emergency management, and life-safety matters.
