We are looking for a Business Process Expert, Sales Control & Accounting to ensure effective, and optimized processes and ways of working within your dedicated responsibility area, while supporting day-to-day operations and quality control of our subcontractor team/s. This role is well suited for an experienced revenue accounting professional and/or person with finance background and who enjoys hands-on expert work, problem-solving and continuous improvement, and who wants to deepen their impact as a subject-matter specialist within Finnair Business Services. Main responsibilities: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of assigned passenger revenue accounting processes, with a focus on sales control and accounting Perform and oversee day-to-day handling and quality control within your responsibility area Guide and support subcontractor teams and monitor performance, accuracy and compliance Create, review and maintain up-to-date work instructions and ensure proper documentation and archiving Handle operational requests and inquiries according to agreed timetables and work split Train, mentor and support new and existing team members Proactively identify, propose and support process and system improvements What will help you succeed in this role: At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or revenue accounting Experience and knowledge in passenger revenue accounting, especially sales control, sales audit and accounting is considered an advantage Good understanding of airline business processes,and distribution models Strong analytical skills and the ability to work confidently with complex data and operational topics Experience with relevant systems such as Amadeus, SAP Sirax, SAP Fico, BSP/ARC, ASD, MS Office Ability to work independently with a proactive and improvement-driven mindset Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex topics into clear guidance and documentation Fluent English, both spoken and written Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
