Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of software engineers to QA Windows applications that allow MPS customers to interface with our programmable products.
• Work with Product Application Engineers to collect, understand and document software requirements.
• Define test plans, develop/execute testcases and setup automated tests as needed.

Requirements

• Experience as a software test engineer debugging and triaging complex desktop applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be fluent in Mandarin to work closely with Software and Hardware Engineers.
• Customer-focused, organized, thorough and meticulous.
• Good team player.
• Experience with C# or other scripting languages a plus.
• Good to have:
• Experience as a software test engineer debugging and triaging web applications
• Experience with test automation frameworks for Windows and/or web applications
• Familiar with Agile software development, using JIRA project management tool and SCRUM process.
• Good English communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Electrical Engineering background or related experience is a big plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
