Intern - Engineering Analyst

Responsibilities

• Document historical and tacit ("back-of-the-head") knowledge into structured process documents and PoMS.
• Create and maintain process checklists to support standardization and compliance.
• Analyze Excel datasets and support conversion into macro-enabled automated solutions.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using Excel and/or other analytical tools.
• Support preparation of presentations, summaries, and insights for stakeholders (PowerPoint preferred).
• WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
• Currently enrolled in a US accredited university pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, project engineering, construction engineering, or similar
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during standard business hours (Mon-Fri)
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
• Minimum sophomore standing or higher
• Available to come onsite to the Uvalde location 2 - 3 days per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 , especially: Excel , including macro programming (VBA)
• Power BI (module-level working knowledge)
• Experience in analytics using Excel or other data analysis tools
• PowerPoint skills are an added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to convert informal or undocumented knowledge into structured documentation
• Attention to detail and process-oriented thinking
• Good written and verbal communication skills
