Duties and Responsibilities of Admin Assistant Reporting Lines: This position reports directly to the College Director and works under the Academic Department. The incumbent's primary role is to support the Academic Department and the College Director in: - Providing administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of academic programmes and courses; - Assisting in academic administration and coordination activities; - Acting as the secondary point of contact for students with feedback, suggestions, or complaints. Duties and Responsibilities - Updating and maintaining the SMS prospective student database; - Answering student enquiries; - Coordinating all administrative requirements; - Providing administrative support to the Academic Department in the delivery and administration of academic programmes; - Assisting with academic documentation, student records, timetabling, examinations, and other academic-related activities as required; - Secondary point of contact for students; - Sourcing and arranging student work placements; - Analysing, evaluating and applying academic approval of work placement sites; - Preparing Memoranda of Understanding with organisations on work placements (if necessary); - Working with stakeholders to ensure work placements are appropriate; - Administration / Practicum supervision; - Maintaining industrial engagement; - Developing and executing activities with the objective of inculcating the College's values and supporting students' professional development; - Assisting the College Director and Academic Department with other duties as assigned.
