Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of Defense Security Counterintelligence Agency and Security Agency (DCSA), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP)

- Work with support departments to ensure compliance with contract/subcontract security requirements
- Responsible for local Insider Threat Program, and pre-publication reviews
- Oversees the adherences of classified storage, annual classified inventory, classified media control, and the visitor control program within the secure areas
- Responsible for self-inspections oversight and compliance.
- Responsible for the reporting of adverse information to the appropriate CSAs
- Assists with the implementation, and maintenance of Fire Life Safety, emergency preparedness, and EHS programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation
- Respond to emergencies that require either an evacuation, shelter-in-building (SIB) order, or lock down
- What You Need to be Successful - Special Security Director
- Minimum Requirements:
- 8 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma or 5 or more years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- Must be willing and able to provide an after-hours response to alarm situations if necessary
- Experience with security and safety programs
- Knowledgeable of the DoDM 5205.07 SAP manual, Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), NISPOM, and ICD series manuals
