Position Description: Supports application software and performs upgrades following established procedures Provisions user and administrator access for applications and systems Installs application patches in accordance with standard processes Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues across systems and applications Partners with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely issue resolution Maintains system/application documentation and operational procedures Monitors application availability, capacity, and performance against established metrics Reviews system alerts for accuracy and takes corrective action as needed Provides troubleshooting and end-user support for business teams using applications/systems Manages the promotion of code and changes across Dev, QA, and Production environments Tests developer-submitted changes and coordinates business acceptance testing and approvals Supports disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing for assigned applications/systems Develops system standards, procedures, and support documentation for both technical teams and end users Partners with development teams to test and approve application enhancements and modifications Utilizes out-of-the-box tools and modules to support business needs and requests Trains and mentors team members Conducts system tuning and capacity planning, recommending performance improvements Leads planning efforts for new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements Evaluates new tools/modules and provides recommendations Collaborates with development teams to define application strategies and direction Completes additional duties and special projects as assigned Education and/or Training: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
